So much is going on in the lives of the simply swanky pullens. The parents are working, working, working. The kids are growing, growing, growing. Not a lot of time for sleeping.
Russ, the swanky dad of the year, is staying super busy with work and daddy duties :0) He will soon be hard to find during the late afternoon hours. I certainly feel sorry for the helpless little deer.
I am staying super busy with work as well as taking care of all of these mother duties :0) And as if the duty list wasn't long enough, I always have to add more duties. I have recently signed up to have a booth at Merry Mansdale to sell some of my most recent works of sewing art ;0). My sewing machine and I have become really close friends lately. And to make matters even more interesting I allowed a friend to talk me into training for a 1/2 marathon!! Thanks Haley ;0) What was I thinking?! Maybe all of this running will get me into shape and off of that silly sewing chair that enlarges my thighs :0)
Elizabeth is growing by leaps and bounds. She is our sassy little preschool diva. She is all about fashion and dolls. Usually if she dresses herself, she doesn't match ;0) She really likes to accessorize with tiaras, headbands, necklaces, etc. I can't imagine where she gets all of that fashion energy :0) She has really enjoyed playing in the sewing room and sharing all of her great outfit ideas ;0) She is really into drawing and painting as well. Even on my walls :0)
Russell is growing up so fast!! He started K5 this year and recently lost his first tooth.. It makes me a little weepy to think about how fast he is growing. He still loves most of the same things: trains, cars and angry birds. This summer he played a little tball but mostly played in the dirt. He is still my sweet little snuggle bug. Not sure what I will do when he decides he is too BIG for me...
